QUALIFICATIONS:

Academic Training and Credentials:
Master's Degree
Valid appropriate California Administrative Credential authorizing service as a secondary principal.

Experience:
Strong background with experience at the secondary level as a teacher; ability to provide leadership in standards-based curriculum and instruction to the staff at the middle school level. Experience as a secondary administrator preferred.

Other Professional Qualifications:
Ability to involve, establish rapport and work effectively with secondary school teachers, students, counselors, parents and classified personnel; effective communication skills, both verbal and written; sound organizational and planning ability; knowledge of, and involvement with, effective instructional programs at the secondary level.
