Summary

Our client is is a leading application Engineering Consulting firm in the Washington, D.C. metro region specializing in Management Services, Technology Solutions and Facilities Services. They partner with and assist Federal, State and local government agencies; private sector Energy Services Companies (ESCOs); and Commercial entities in the design and implementation of their various Engineering and Technology related projects. Additionally, they are able to leverage an engineering team with proven technology industry experience that resulted in multi-million-dollar contracts within federal government, state & local government clients

 

Responsibilities

Our client is seeking an experienced C# Developer/Programmer to develop and maintain business applications for the Compensation Board using emerging technology. This role involves leading the agency maintenance, development, and deployment of IT initiatives, providing solutions that align with the agency's core responsibilities and business needs. The goal is to enhance existing services and create new virtual services by integrating traditional information systems with modern technologies and service delivery outlets. This is an advanced technical position that requires research, integration, development, and implementation of tools, technologies, methods, and systems to enhance service delivery.

Develop and maintain business applications for the Compensation Board

Lead the maintenance, development, and deployment of IT initiatives

Provide solutions that align with agency core responsibilities and business needs

Enhance existing services and create new virtual services using modern technologies

Provide a secure, flexible, and integrated approach for connecting systems and services

Interface traditional information systems to the web and other electronic channels

Conduct research, integration, development, and implementation of tools and technologies

Prepare presentations and reports to communicate technical information to technical and non-technical audiences

Requirements

Thorough knowledge of C# (5+ years of experience)

Experience developing web client-based applications using SQL Server

Knowledge of object-oriented design and programming (OOP & OOD)

Experience with .NET 3.1 (or higher)

Experience with Visual Studio 2019

T-SQL scripting experience (5+ years)

Experience with Angular 13 (2+ years)

Skills in complex programming, performance tuning, and oral/written communication

Ability to work with all levels of data processing personnel and other agencies/companies

Experience working with and developing advanced programs and systems in an Enterprise Level and Web-based environment

Preferred Requirements

Experience with gRPC

Microsoft C# and Visual Studio Certifications

Knowledge of ColdFusion

Education/Certification Requirements

A Bachelor's degree in computer programming, computer science, information technology, or a related field is required

Drivers License Requirements
