Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate closely with architects and engineers to translate conceptual designs into detailed technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Utilize CAD software, such as AutoCAD and Revit, to create accurate 2D and 3D models.
  • Ensure all drafted documents comply with industry standards, building codes, and local regulations.
  • Conduct site visits for research and to verify that construction adheres to architectural plans.
  • Coordinate drafting efforts and provide guidance to junior drafters and technicians.
  • Prepare colored drawings and scale models for client presentations.
  • Compile and maintain technical documentation and reports.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in Applied Science in Architectural Drafting or a related field; a Bachelor's degree in Architecture is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in CAD software, including AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Strong drafting skills with the ability to produce detailed, accurate drawings.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • A solid understanding of construction processes, building codes, and design principles.
