The person in this position is responsible for organizing, planning and fully executing all aspects of fundraising events and donor cultivation events through best practices and the use of CRM and event software. They will coordinate, implement and analyze data from the division-wide database to perform accurate analysis of fully executed campaigns and special events measuring effectiveness. Rio Salado’s Division of Public Service, based in Tempe, Arizona, manages three award-winning public radio stations, KJZZ 91.5 FM, KBACH 89.5 FM and Sun Sounds of Arizona, as well as SPOT 127 Youth Media Center. Essential functions 35% - Executes fundraising events utilizing special event best practices and CRM and event software 25% - Works within a team environment to build relationships with donors and outside vendors 20% - Performs analysis and prepares reports in CRM software and special event database to track activities, determine timelines, and project outcomes for events 20% - Plans, organizes, supervises and assigns the work of staff and volunteers Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s Degree from a regionally accredited institution in marketing, communications or related field and two (2) years of experience assisting with and/or coordinating various fundraising campaigns and activities. OR Associate’s Degree from a regionally accredited institution in marketing, communications or related field and four (4) years of experience assisting with and/or coordinating various fundraising campaigns and activities. OR High School Diploma/GED and six (6) years of experience assisting with and/or coordinating various fundraising campaigns and activities. Desired Qualifications A. College degree or college level classes in Business, Marketing or Communications B. One (1) year or more experience as an administrative assistant in a professional setting C. One (1) year or more experience working in a fast paced environment D. One (1) year or more experience facilitating events such as scheduling appointments and meetings E. One (1) year or more experience working with volunteers or a membership databases.
