Primary Responsibilities: Participates in recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding of all Vistas and Tides program associates Oversees recruitment gateway for Vistas and Tides associates Supervises all Vistas and Tides care associates Monitors all Vistas and Tides associates assigned care tasks Updates communication logs and contact information with associates Conducts monthly checks and weights Supports payroll and scheduling Provides outstanding customer service to residents, family members, and visitors Ensures programs meet state regulations and company standards Collaborates with department heads to meet residents' needs Provides ongoing communication to management regarding staffing Manages supplies and services for residents Participates in residents' service plans and documentation Provides coaching, mentoring, and trainings to staff Ensures staff have required training Plans, implements, and monitors programs for residents Assists with special events and community-wide programs Coordinates activities and transportation for residents Ensures residents' dining needs are met Provides family education and communication Education/Experience/Licensure/Certification: Degree in social work, nursing, psychology, gerontology, or related field preferred Minimum two (2) years' experience in senior living environment Passion for working with seniors Understanding of Alzheimer’s and dementia-related diseases Excellent communication and organization skills Computer knowledge and scheduling abilities Ability to work effectively with seniors and manage staff Maplewood Senior Living is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
