What You'll Do: + Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required. + Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism at all times. + Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment. + Monitor for suspicious behavior and/or activities, and report findings according to established guidelines. + Interact with the public, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner while maintaining a visible presence. + Support access control procedures, including verifying identification and screening as required by site policies. + Assist law enforcement or emergency personnel during incidents as directed and in accordance with post orders. Minimum Requirements: + Possess a valid concealed carry weapons permit. + Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent. + Possess an armed guard card or license. + Provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client. + Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. + Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. + Participate in industry-specific security training programs. + Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. + A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
