Warehouse Associate (3-Month Contract with Potential for Permanent Placement)

Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a knack for accuracy? We're looking for a motivated Warehouse Associate to join our client's team for a 3-month contract with the possibility to transition to a permanent position (based on performance, attendance, and hiring needs).

In this role, you'll be responsible for:
  • Receiving packages: You'll be the first point of contact for incoming shipments, making sure everything arrives according to plan and gets directed to the right place.
  • Packing and prepping orders: Get those orders ready to roll You'll be picking, packing, and labeling shipments to keep our deliveries flowing smoothly.
  • Keeping things organized: Accuracy is key You'll maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure all documentation is complete and up-to-date.
  • Working safely and efficiently: We prioritize safety You'll be trained to operate material handling equipment (like forklifts) and follow all safety protocols.
  • Teamwork makes the dream work: You'll collaborate with colleagues and contribute to a positive and productive work environment.

Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience working in a warehouse or retail home improvement store, where you gained experience operating warehouse equipment.
  • High school diploma/GED equivalent
  • Availability to work Sundays
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test
Bonus points if you have:
  • Experience operating material handling equipment (forklifts, reach trucks, etc.)
  • Prior experience in a production or goal-oriented environment
