Our team of healthcare professionals positively impacts the health, well-being and quality of life for those we serve providing comprehensive, integrated, affordable healthcare and education to patients. We utilize a team-based model including embedded Behavioral Health Clinicians as well as Case Managers, Care Coordinators and Community Health Workers.

The Manager of Behavioral Health is responsible for the delivery and oversight of Behavioral Health services in Amoskeag Health's four clinics. The Manager works to support a team-based, integrated Patient Centered Medical Home model of care as outlined by the National Committee on Quality Assurance (NCQA). Through the implementation of evidence-based treatment practices, mission-driven goal setting, personal and team accountability, the Manager leads the delivery of high-quality behavioral health and social services in our diverse and vibrant Federally Qualified Health Center.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Education/Training: Master's Degree in Social Work, Mental Health, Counseling, Psychology or related field from an accredited graduate school.
  • Licensure: New Hampshire LICSW, LMHC or other behavioral health license required for clinical supervision of staff and interns. Approved, or eligible for approval by the State of New Hampshire's Board of Mental Health Practice as a clinical supervisor.
  • Experience: Three years of experience in behavioral healthcare or social services field. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a leadership role.
  • Experience within an integrated primary care-behavioral health or PCMH setting is highly valued.
  • Knowledge of behavioral health billing and coding, managed care principles, and third-party payer guidelines is essential.
  • Verifiable good driving record and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to maintain a non-judgmental disposition and communicate with a diverse patient and staff population; a desire and ability to work closely with a low-income population; An awareness of and sensitivity to the cultural diversity of the population employed and served by Amoskeag Health.
