It's a great opportunity to jump start your Career in a new and exciting direction.Your Day-to-Day task in the Casting Machine Operator Department will be the following: Comply with all safety requirements and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Understand and practice the Quality policyLoads raw materials into machinesManually on and off bears materials from/to machinesOperates cork spraying machineDross ladle and pot when neededPerforms visual inspections for quality and quantity, makes minor adjustments to correct problems under supervision.Assist team members in maximizing productionBe familiar with all grid types, proper alignment on pallets and proper stacksMust also be sure to use only non-defective pallets or slip sheetsGenerally, meets minimum grid production requirements.Complete hourly CTQ data collector entryIdentifies a variety of grid types Understand and follow Work InstructionsBe at work station on timeLeave work station on time, unless otherwise instructed by the Team Lead or SupervisorFollow and maintain Lean activities (5S, Housekeeping, etc.)Assist with mold and trim die changes Ability to work variable and flexible hours including overtimeAbility to be detail oriented, and sense of urgencyOther duties as assignedWhat we'd like you to know:It gets hot sometimes, really hotBut...It gets cold sometimes alsoOur people mean everything to us, so we look after, teach, promote, and make them leadersWe're going to tell you to be safe, wear the right gear (which we give you), use the correct hand tools and teach you to operate the machinery....But, when you care about each other as a team, we all succeed.So, a little about you:You,Work great with a teamHave a high school diploma, GED or higherCan use hand tools and stand at workHave a basic English proficiencyCan do a little MathHave a consistent work recordMight have some experience in manufacturing/production (we love that), but its not a deal breakerCare about your safety and the safety of others...therefore... follow all the rules all the timeBear down and get the job done.
