The
Associate A+D Director, Lifestyle
partners both internally and externally to foster, develop and nurture relationships between MOI and the CRE community with a specific focus on the niche markets of: multi-family housing, amenity spaces and senior living.
Responsibilities:
Drive business for the organization through a primary focus on A+D and CRE relationships where Lifestyle projects are prevalent and elevating the MOI experience
Build and expand A+D and CRE relationships within target firms through new/existing contacts in assigned territory
Help to research, uncover and share information on new project/client opportunities & collaborate with BD team to verify project viability
Establish and earn credibility and drive preference with CRE (developers, end-users and targeted A+D) to better address ongoing needs for the influencer community with a specific focus on the niche markets of: multi-family housing, amenity spaces and senior living.
Identify opportunities to develop and expand MOI presence in niche markets of: multi-family housing, amenity spaces and senior living in collaboration with Director of A+D & targeted Project Directors.
Work in conjunction with Director of A+D, BD team, and targeted Project Directors to identify opportunities in HubSpot (CRM) by A+D and CRE relationships and then work to influence negotiated business and early partnership but also to position MOI as the right partner throughout competitive pursuits
Work hand in hand with Director of A+D, the BD team and MOI Sales team, as well as Directors (Design, PM, Sales Support) to gain feedback from project experiences to inform process improvement and help to coach teams to provide better client experiences
Facilitate presentations and showroom tours, as needed
Work in conjunction with targeted Project Directors and teams to develop initial strategies and direction for projects and pursuits
Work with Sales team to inform preliminary budget projections for projects as requested by CRE contacts
Work with Marketing team to create Lifestyle project focused content and marketing materials to better capture the unique and curated approach
Support Director of A+D, Marketing and targeted Project Directors with marketing efforts - to include: Interviews, Qualifications and Bid packages. Support to include: Strategy, Product Selection, General QA/QC for A+D Firm expectations, helping to navigate Marketing support while Sales Team focuses on pricing deliverables, etc.
Responsible for knowledge and marketing of full range of dealership’s products and services to CRE partners
Attends MOI sales meetings and special events as planned with key manufacturers
Attend key tradeshows (ICFF, BDNY, High Point, Neocon/Design Days, for example) as requested. In some cases, attend and entertain CRE guests or clients
Involvement and coordination of industry events like IIDA, ULI, CoreNet, IFMA and Manufacturer sponsored events, in collaboration with Director of A+D
Establish and oversee creative relationship building for CRE partners with MOI sponsored events
Develop and implement yearly market plan in collaboration with Director of A+D
Required Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Business, Design, or related field
7+ years of experience in interiors/A&D/furniture
Full understanding of MOI products and services offering
Sales cycle and sales skills training
Identifying new opportunities and growing relationships
Technical proficiencies with all Microsoft Office software
CET and/or CORE knowledge appreciated
