Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Software Systems Administrator to support enterprise-wide software systems and project objectives for the Salesforce platform. As a Software Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining the reliability, functionality, and security of our organization's databases and program management software including but not limited to Salesforce, SharePoint, Petpoint, Zendesk and other program-specific software solutions. You will play a critical role in obtaining and maintaining an in-depth knowledge of software functionality and designing solutions to support business workflows. This includes, but is not limited to, user provisioning, supporting existing business processes, and meeting ongoing project timelines & deadlines. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of database management systems, data integrity, and performance optimization.

Duties & Responsibilities

Software Systems
  • Administer and maintain multiple database and software systems, ensuring data integrity, availability, and performance
  • Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize queries for efficient data retrieval
  • Perform regular backups, restore procedures, and disaster recovery planning to ensure data continuity
  • Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues, working closely with IT teams and stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain documentation of database configurations, processes, and best practices
  • Define and enforce user roles, permissions, and authentication protocols
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging database technologies, recommending improvements to existing systems
  • Provide ongoing onsite, in-person supervision, support, and training to team members and end-users on data entry and software use
Data Management
  • Design and oversee efficient, customer-centric data collection methods
  • Implement and manage effective SharePoint document management naming conventions, folder structure, etc. for org-wide use
  • Implement and manage data security measures
  • Stay current with industry trends, recommending improvements to data management and collection
Reporting
  • Collect, analyze, and validate data from various databases to generate performance tracking dashboards
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of data and troubleshoot any discrepancies
  • Collaborate with teams to understand and support reporting needs
  • Assist and advise data collection, program tracking, and reporting for grants
Qualifications

Minimum
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of direct hands-on experience as a Salesforce Administrator (Lightning) with an emphasis on data analysis
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce functionality and best practices
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and SharePoint
  • Detail oriented and self-starter with strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to explain technical information to non-technical stakeholders and summarize large data sets
  • Ability to assess the impact of new requirements and all upstream and downstream applications, systems and processes
  • Strong data management abilities (data integrity, duplicates, merging)
Preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university in a relevant field
  • Demonstrated track record of enabling sales organizations to drive growth through data analytics
  • Salesforce Administrator Certifications (ADM201C, ADM211)
  • Experience working with Salesforce Pardot (Account Engagement)
  • Experience in Zendesk
  • Experience with Sales Analytics and Market Analytics, DocuSign, CRM Analytics, Salesforce Maps, and Salesforce Shield
  • Experience with coding languages (SQL, Python)
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Automate
  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint
  • Experience with Flow, Process Builder, Workflow Rules and APEX
