Title: Sr. Manufacturing Engineer

Compensation: $120k - $150k+ Depending on Experience

Location: Durango (Relocation Assistance for the right individuals looking for a change in scenery) - (Nestled in the southwestern part of Colorado, offering a perfect blend of natural beauty, outdoor adventure (winter sports and summer excursions), and cultural richness.)

Type: Full-Time

We are seeking to hire a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer for a prestigious organization committed to shaping a future where humanity thrives beyond Earth's bounds.

Based out of a once frontier mining town, Durango, CO, the firm is a leading innovator in thrusters and propulsion systems providing solutions and high performance for next-generation space travel. They are a top choice for U.S. gov't missions and have supported prime contractors to the DoD, NASA, and other agencies. With a singular focus on propulsion and domestic production, they take pride in being a single-source integrator, exceeding our customers' expectations while delivering cost-effective solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee development, implementation, and optimization of manufacturing processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the organization
  • Utilize data and statistical analysis to make data-driven decisions
  • Support new product introduction (NPI) and product design transfer
  • Lead initiates related to automation, robotics, and advanced manufacturing technologies to improve efficiency and productivity

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Manufacturing and Leading Process Improvement Activities
  • Proven experience in Space/Spacecraft, Aerospace, and/or Defense or Related Sectors
  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering or other related fields
  • Fabrication/Machining Experience
  • Strong Experience with CAD/CAM Software (e.g. SolidWorks, Catia etc.)

Bonus Points: Advanced technical degree and experience with spacecraft thrusters/propulsion systems
