Job Description
An experienced Project Manager with a strong background in Mechanical Process Engineering within the Food and Beverage Manufacturing industry. This role is pivotal in driving efficiency, safety, and sustainability improvements within our manufacturing processes. Reporting to the Engineering & Maintenance Manager, the Project Manager will be responsible for scoping, designing, and implementing projects that enhance equipment, services, and infrastructure in line with Kraft Heinz Management Systems.
Responsibilities
Project Management: Lead projects aimed at enhancing equipment performance, optimizing resource utilization, and reducing environmental, health, safety, and food safety risks.
Financial Oversight: Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring projects are delivered within budget constraints.
Documentation: Create comprehensive engineering corporate governance documentation, clearly outlining project deliverables and specifications.
Communication: Effectively communicate project requirements to a diverse audience throughout the project lifecycle.
Procurement Support: Collaborate with the Procurement Department to negotiate and finalize contract agreements with vendors and contractors.
People Management: Day to Day management of Graduate engineer
Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) and food safety policies.
Process Improvement: Utilize engineering expertise to critically analyse and challenge existing processes, driving continuous improvement.
People Management: Day to day management of Graduate Engineer.
About you:
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
Degree in Engineering and a minimum of 2 years practical experience working in the manufacturing industry.
Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of OH&S and EPA regulations and systems.
Experience in a similar role with a strong focus on Continuous improvement and working with lean manufacturing conditions.
Ability to manage a team providing coaching, guidance and task delegation.
