CSEngineering is looking to add MOSA Space Systems Engineers (Senior level) to our growing team The positions will support the US Space Force, Space Systems Command (SSC) in generating technical Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) requirements, and, in the case of SSIO, integration activities across all SSC programs, through Modeling and Simulation (M&S) to improve integration and mission effectiveness. In this role, you will be familiar with and able to work on the development of Enterprise Level Specifications and Standards.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Security Clearance: TS/SCI or TS/SCI eligible
- Bachelor's degree.
- 3+ years of experience with Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA) design principles and technologies, DoD architecture standards and framework, and Agile systems engineering methods and tools.
- 3+ years of experience with interoperability applications across system of systems and mission integration.
- Experience with development of common standards and interfaces with space, ground, space integration.
- Experience identifying, documenting, and analyzing integration activity interdependencies, giver and receiver relationships, issues and risks, and recommending solutions, mitigations, alternatives, and corrective actions for these risks.
- Ability to recommend systems engineering and integration process improvements that increase efficiency, reduce risk, cost and schedule, and improve integration, communication and collaboration.
- Ability to communicate and establish collaborative relationships with government clients, Federally Funded Research and Developmental Centers (FFRDC), and associate contractor teammates to achieve program goals.
- Experience with performing systems engineering, integration, and test on space systems.
- Experience in compliance with and implementation of customer-mandated techniques and industry best-practices, including MOSA.
- Experience developing implementation guidelines and concepts to apply MOSA principles to system design.
- Experience with using Model-Based Systems Engineering approach to manage system definitions and technical baselines.
- Experience with using Atlassian tools.
- Ability to perform multiple systems engineering and program management functions in support of design reviews, milestone reviews, and requirements verification, and provide technically based recommendations.
- Knowledge of DoD 5000.01/02.
- Master's degree in an Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related field.
- INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional Certification, such as ASEP, CSEP, or ESEP.
