Shelter Veterinarian

*Shelter Veterinarian*Big Dog Ranch Rescue("BDRR") is the largest cage free, no kill dog rescue in the United States. We are currently seeking a 3rd veterinarian preferably with experience in shelter medicine to perform medical/surgical care of dogs in our facility located in Palm Beach County.* Veterinarian with minimum 1-3 years' experience.* Ability to thoroughly document and perform a high volume of spay/neuters per day.* An ideal candidate would have continued education in high volume spay/neuters.* Perform pre-and post-operative examinations on all patients.* Provide supervision and training of veterinary technicians working with you.* Adhere to state and federal regulations as well as organizational protocol regarding animal care, treatment, advocacy, and the mission of the organization.* Must have the ability to collaborate with other Veterinarians.* Work in conjunction as a team with two other full-time Veterinarians to ensure smooth operation of the medical clinic.* Flexible weekend coverage is needed.
