Job Summary Principle responsibilities of the MRHC registration clerk are varied and includes, but is not limited to; promoting and practicing excellent interpersonal relationships with Patient Access clerks, H.I.S. employees, Quality Assurance, Nursing, Physicians, the general public, patients, and insurance company representatives. Assists in promoting customer service and creating a positive patient experience. Position: Registration Clerk Department: Patient Access Type: FT and PRN Education Requirements High school diploma or GED is required. Some college or business courses are preferred. Experience Experience in a hospital or medical setting is preferred. Experience with computers is preferred. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required. Language/Communication Skills English required. Multi-lingual capabilities enhance the ability to perform this job. Must have the ability to speak effectively and professionally to all staff, management, and all outside individuals at all levels from elementary to professional. Mathematical Skills Skills in adding and subtracting two two-digit numbers.
