Information Systems & Technology Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Information Technology Manager to join our core team for our client's IT Operations
You will have the opportunity to support our leadership team, building out our technological solutions to better position our client for the future and deliver on the needs of our internal and external customers

The ideal candidate for this position will possess extensive experience in IT project support and exhibit strong leadership and interpersonal skills

Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
  • Works with managers to identify and analyze requirements for information systems, develop and modify project plans, soliciting input from project team, and participate in phase, milestone, and final project reviews
  • Creates documentation that includes process workflows, procedures, diagramming, project reports, metrics, policies, and more
  • Partners with colleagues in different work units to assess how projects will affect workloads and identify dependencies and possible issues across teams
  • Will have to manage requests relating to the company's ERP software
  • Recommends appropriate products and services to managers to define and track project scope, requirements, and deliverables
  • Recommends purchase or contracting for IT services, equipment, products, supplies, property, or other items
  • Will deal with change management, for monitoring and planning infrastructural change activities, in agreement with suppliers and application areas
  • Implement and enforce security best practices and policies to protect company data and assets
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols, security protocols and infrastructure technologies
  • Must have a deep knowledge of IT logic, from processes to regulations
  • Support internal or external audit activities
  • Will be responsible for managing the hardware and software infrastructure, with reference to the corporate network infrastructure (wired and wi-fi), internal services in the data center and in the cloud
  • Fosters strong vendor relationships with external and internal service providers and team members
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Participates in analyzing and resolving problems associated with technical issues, project resource issues, and project integration issues
  • Prepares cost estimates and develops proposals for all changes requested that affect the project
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • ERP
  • SAP, SAGE, or Oracle JD Edwards
  • PLC-Manufacturing
  • Security, Microsoft, and Adobe
  • EDI logistics system Knowledge
  • Knowledge of APIs and web services
  • A preferred qualification for this role is a bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field, accompanied by 5 years of work experience in a similar position
    Alternatively, a master's degree with 5 years of work experience in a similar role would also be preferred
  • Experience preferably in the agri-food sector, logistics and industrial sector
  • Flexible, autonomous and eager to learn
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
