We are seeking a professional like you to be responsible for providing instrument and electrical engineering support to the Freeport Chemical Manufacturing operating areas, as well as providing technical guidance to the I/E/A maintenance group. This is a long-term and strategic-focused position where you will have responsibility to drive maintenance, reliability, asset availability and safety performance, utilizing the most appropriate and effective tools and techniques across the Polyamide (CM) business unit. You will be required to provide technical support for daily maintenance activities and provide design and technical information for maintenance and capital improvements. In addition, you will provide technical support to Root Cause Failure Analyses and troubleshooting of problems, and hold responsibility for maintenance, testing, and documentation of the site’s SIS infrastructure. Finally, you will ensure a culture of continuous improvement. As a Sr I/E Maintenance Engineer you will demonstrate your solid performance in troubleshooting I/E issues as well as recommending and implementing changes.
