About the Role: We are looking for an experienced Lean Practitioner to join our Gore Business Systems (GBS) team who will support implementation of our Gore Business Systems, establishing a culture and mindset of process excellence, build Associate capability, and deliver improved business outcomes in partnership with Gore Medical teams. This role will be located at our Science Center in Flagstaff, Arizona. Responsibilities: Support Gore Business Systems (GBS) implementation & Lean Transformation by collaborating with internal stakeholders across Gore Medical in applying best practices in strategy deployment, daily management, standard work, and other systems. Facilitate teams in conducting improvement workshops (VSM & Kaizen) and rapid process-improvement, from problem identification through solution implementation and end-to-end process optimization including successful monitoring and follow-up. Utilize data, best practices, and prior Continuous Improvement deployment experience to identify performance gaps, work with local leaders to develop and execute improvement plans. Utilize a structured problem-solving approach to analyze current conditions, identify improvement opportunities, and deploy appropriate Lean tools to resolve. Coach others to create and execute methods to promote desired process-improvement behavior. Support development and delivery of GBS tools and training content. Continuously expand knowledge of process improvement through external benchmarking. Actively support Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in alignment with Gore's Culture and Principles. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Management, or minimum of 5 years of successful work experience in Operations Leadership and or Continuous Improvement. Minimum of 3 years experience implementing Continuous Improvement, Lean, and/or six sigma applications. Demonstrated lean or operational excellence proficiency including experience implementing and coaching Daily Management, Problem Solving, Gemba practice, Standard Work, and statistical analysis. Demonstrated interpersonal skills with ability to transparently communicate and relate to people at all levels of the organization. Demonstrated oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to coach, lead and influence both individually and broadly across the company (including leading leaders). Demonstrated ability to facilitate kaizen, diverse problem solving and improvement events and the ability to develop and deliver effective training materials, simulations, and exercises. Ability to travel up to 15%. Desired Qualifications: Lean Six Sigma or equivalent lean certification. Knowledge & understanding of high technology processes / medical industry / regulated businesses.
