Performs specialized Ultrasound procedures for Maternal Fetal Medicine patients including, but not limited to fetal echoes, Amniocentesis, Amnio Reductions, CVS, and intraoperative Ultrasounds.Duties & Responsibilities•Schedule and Perform Pre Surgical, and Post Surgical Ultrasounds for Fetal Therapy Patients. Performs Intraoperative Ultrasound Procedures. •Performs Therapeutically Fetal Echo's. Maintains accurate record of Fetal Therapy Ultrasounds performed. Performs all other duties of an Ultrasound Technologist 1. •Performs emergency Fetal Therapy Procedures on an "on-call" basis. Follows and performs all related unit specific policies and procedures, as detailed on the unit specific competency check-list. Utilizes job and unit specific equipment as required. •Demonstrates behaviors of service excellence and CARE values (Compassion, Accountability, Respect and Expertise). Performs all other related job duties as assigned.EducationGraduation from an accredited program in Ultrasound Technology is required.ExperienceGenerally requires 3 to 5 years of related experience.License/CertificationEmployees hired BEFORE 2/1/2017 must obtain the required ARDMS certification by 12/31/2017. Employees hired AFTER 2/1/2017 who have completed training at JHS MUST obtain their required certification within six months of hire. Any new hires with external training must have the required certification at the time of hire (equivalent amount of documented clinical hours may count towards experience.
