Paladin Consulting is currently hiring a Assistant Controller to join our team working onsite at our client's office located in Westlake, TX.

Job Title: Assistant Controller 
Work Location: Westlake, TX
Duration: 4-6 month contract 
Education/Experience Required: CPA and 10 years experience in accounting

Job Description & Responsibilities :

  • Support the accounting team and the FP&A Director during the transition of the Controller
  • There will be one half year closing that is challenging.
  • It consists in:
    • Taking part in the transmission of knowledge of the controller.
    • Being trained to the ERP and closing process by the team for specific tasks to be identified.
    • Support the accounting team to ensure that the closing is due on time and with a good quality level.
    • Take part in the closing activity in order to help the workload split between the team.
    • Help the transition when the new controller will be hired.
Skills & Qualifications :
  • CPA
  • 10 years experience in accounting
  • Strong IT skills (quick learner and strong experience in ERP)
  • Strong data skills (Excel)
  • Experience in manufacturing environment is a plus
  • Experience in accounting management full scope (AP, AR, GL, CAPEX, Tax, T&E)
