As a retail associate located in pointe discovery, you are expected to assist guests with retail purchases, while maintaining a polished, professional and engaging demeanor. This also includes assisting with the stocking, merchandising and overall cleanliness of the retail space. On occasion, you will be expected to assist with the check in and execution of resort activities.

Meet store sales goalsUtilize the elevated levels of sales and service to maximize sales performanceDemonstrate an in-depth knowledge of the merchandiseComply with all sales related policies and proceduresProvide the highest level of customer serviceBuild and maintain repeat clientele by following through on special requestsResolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction.Keep selling floor and merchandise neat, organized and stockedAssist with receiving, tagging and merchandising new product as instructed by the Retail BuyerAssist with entering PO’s into Retail Pro as instructed by BuyerAssist in the maintenance of all inventory in the stockroom and on the selling floorComply with all Point-of-Sale policies and proceduresParticipate in quarterly physical inventoryProperly execute all relevant register functionsAdhere to work schedule, inclusive of time and attendanceParticipate in all relevant training and development seminars, programs and meetings as directed by store managementMaintain bank accounting accuracyMaintain complete knowledge of all recreation offerings and be able to clearly articulate to guestsMaintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies/service procedures/standardsAnticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of dayBe familiar with all hotel services/features and local attractions/activities to respond to guest inquiries accuratelyProcess Activities Charges to guest accounts when neededMaintain Library of ResourcesAssist with Maps and DirectionsWork with Guest Services to insure accurate reservations and booking processDistribute Activities Sheets to resort guests and be an ambassador of all recreation programs

Additional Duties & Responsibilities:Maintain the company image and vision statementMake optimal use of financial resourcesParticipate in ongoing training and encourage the personal development of all associatesContinuous evaluation and improvement of the operationsTo be an integral part of the development of future company projectsTo provide an exceptional guest experience

Ability to operate computer or sales register equipment necessary to perform the jobAbility to communicate clearly and effectively with associates and customersAbility to read, count, and writeGood organizational skills, with the ability to work independentlyAbility to function under pressure, set priorities and adjust to changing conditionsAbility to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends, and holidays as neededExperience, Education, & Licensure:1-2 years retail experienceExperience in retail operations, preferred, with a proven record of effective performance.CompensationBase Pay Start Rate: $18.50/Hr.
