The levels of supervision received (chain of command) are:
•President

Supervision Exercised:

This position will exercise supervision over all full-time and part-time employees in the Finance Office, including Deputy Financial Officer (DFO), Finance Specialists and Supervises Auxiliary Services.

General Statement of Duties:

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for administering, managing, and supervising all aspects of the Finance Department and of all matters related to the internal fiscal controls, policies/procedures, and other standards established to manage all fiscal records/infrastructure, provide accurate reporting of budgets and investments, collection/coordination of all financial data for annual audits/reports, integration of best practices in maintaining fiscal management/compliance and provide a critical financial supportive service/function to students, faculty, staff and community members around customer relations to accomplish the BFCC vision, core values, mission and core themes in accordance with the established BFCC policy and standard procedures

Qualifications:
  • Masters degree required
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in finance and auditing management for tribal or non-profit organizations
