The Analyst performs, and assists others, in evaluating and analyzing data to facilitate the financial success of Medxcel and our customers.The Analyst should have a customer centric approach and work to proactively provide solutions to support internal customers. The Analyst should maintain a working knowledge of facilities maintenance and understand the vendor landscape needed to support Medxcel's efforts. The Analyst further exhibits the ability to represent the department as needed in reporting and presentations. The Analyst will ensure all governmental, local laws and codes in addition to business ethics are adhered to when developing sourcing and contracting strategies, selecting suppliers, and conducting contract negotiations and finalization.This position is located at Central Office- Indianapolis,IN.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain reporting tools to collect, organize and analyze critical facts and data to support all aspects of Supply Chain.Collaborate with Medxcel service line leaders and executives to drive business innovation, service strategies, financial savings and continuous improvement at the national level.Utilize financial data to diagnose business strengths and weaknesses, generate cost-savings or cost-avoidance opportunities, and commit to driving daily decisions that maximize profitability.Collaborate with others to review equipment inventory, analyze needs (parts, supplies, training, labor, etc.), and perform financial/logistical analysis of offerings and capabilities.Prepare and present on financial reports, analysis and trending.Assist in the implementation of national agreements at all levels of the organization, as needed.Establish and maintain positive relationships with internal stakeholders, cross-functional colleagues, internal and external customers, and vendors, recognizing and communicating potential issues to Supply Chain leaders as appropriate.Respond to internal customer questions concerning spend activity, vendor selection, contract information, and Supply Chain procedures and processes, successfully handling most non-routine issues, and escalating issues that cannot be resolved to management.Self-starter who is performance and quality oriented, requiring minimal supervision to manage daily activities and is able to meet published deadlines and metrics for activities.Other duties as assigned.QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree or 7-10 years relevant experience in data analysis required Bachelor's degree in supply chain management peferred Experience:5+ years' data analysis experience required Customer service experience required 5+ years' experience in healthcare and/or facilities management preferred 5+ years' supply chain experience preferred Experience with a complex national footprint with multiple customers preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Critical thinking - gathers, synthesizes, and analyzes information to objectively draw conclusions, make reasonable decisions, and provide creative solutions and communicate the situation, action and result clearly and concisely both written and orally.Problem solving - identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner and gathers and analyses information.Planning/organizing - prioritizes and plans work activities, uses time efficiently and develops realistic action plans for multiple deadline-driven projects.Flexible and Adaptable - able to work in ambiguous situations and adapt quickly to changes in scope or direction and be flexible to adopting changes quickly.Ability to maintain confidentiality.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to communicate and represent Supply Chain to various levels of the organization.Ability to deal effectively with diverse roles, backgrounds, and expectations.Ability and desire to train and mentor others on data analysis.Must be willing to work a non-traditional schedule, as needed during any open hours of the department.Demonstration of knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications required.Ability to travel
