This 36-day opportunity features 12-hour shifts in a typical urgent care setting, with a schedule spanning Monday through Sunday. Physicians must be comfortable seeing pediatric patients ages 3 months and older and have 3 to 6 years of experience in family practice, emergency medicine, or urgent care. Job Details Location: Colorado Start Date: Jan 5, 2026 LOA: 36 days Provider Type Needed: Urgent Care Physician Schedule: Monday - Friday: 8 am - 8 pm Saturday: 8 am - 7 pm Sunday: 8 am - 5 pm Responsibilities and Duties Provide care in a typical urgent care setting Evaluate and treat patients ages 3 months and older Close lacerations and perform incision and drainage (I&D) procedures Interpret X-rays and EKGs Treat work-related injuries; work comp experience is a plus DOT certification is advantageous Utilize Practice Velocity EMR for documentation Additional Information 3-6 years of relevant experience in family practice, emergency medicine, or urgent care required Must be board certified in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Urgent Care Colorado license required Must be comfortable with pediatric and adult patient populations Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
