Duration: 6 months (possible extension or conversion)

Position Type: Hourly contract Position (W2 only)

Hours: 8 AM- 5 PM Hours Per Week: 40

What You Will Be Doing:

Join a dynamic engineering team developing the next generation of In-Flight Entertainment systems.

Your responsibilities will include:

Developing new power supply solutions to provide on-board power and in-flight entertainment hardware including AC/DC Power supplies and high-voltage DC/DC converters (LLC and flyback).

As part of this job, you will be responsible for the design, testing, and documentation. Other focus areas:

  • Power control for USB Type C and Power Delivery 2.0.
  • PFC, LLC, and Inverter designs.
  • DSP or FPGA-base design, especially for power converter control.
  • Hardware development and planning including layout, analysis, evaluation, prototype build, and test.

Strong emphasis on:

  • Performing qualitative and quantitative tests to determine properties, characteristics, and the performance of materials, circuits, mechanisms, assemblies, and systems.
  • Design and development of electronic circuits and board assemblies. Analysis of test data.
  • Select hardware and material assuring compliance with specifications and product requirements.
  • Verify embedded firmware and higher-level software functionality of the product.
  • Ability to apply problem-solving methods to assure compliance with all product requirements.

  • Ability to analyze and design circuits; implement test methods and procedures.
  • Proven ability to prepare technical reports and documentation.
