We are looking for a Bilingual HR Coordinator who can assist with day-to-day functions of the HR department. You will provide a wide range of administrative HR support and guidance at all business locations with regards to terminations, benefits, leave of absences, workers comp and any payroll-related questions. The goal is to ensure the HR departments operation will be running smoothly and effectively to deliver maximum value to the organization. This position reports to the Director of Human Resources. Additional HR Coordinator duties may include

Human Resources Coordinator ( Bi Lingual )
Facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open

warehouse/transportation

positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
Onboarding of warehouse employees and drivers which includes all new hire / rehire paperwork, I9 verification and WOTC compliance.
Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files.
Conduct new hire orientation in English and/or Spanish.
Answer routine questions from applicants about employment procedures.
Accurately maintain employee files.
Assists with processing of termination paperwork.
Implement company culture, core values and policies.
Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
Assist with employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
Assist with HR policy interpretation and basic benefits inquiries.
Assist with annual open enrollment.
Assist with all company employee related events.
Perform other clerical duties in support of the Human Resources Department as required or assigned
Education
Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience.
2+ years of Human Resources experience in a fast-paced environment required.
Experience
Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Working understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
Knowledge of labor and employment laws
Strong onboarding background
Ability to work independently and think a few steps ahead.
Ability to interact with employees and management at all levels, manage confidential issues and information with discretion.
Ability to write in a clear and concise manner.
Total discretion and respect for confidentiality of data and decision-making.
Ability to maintain a professional demeanor under pressure and operate with a keen sense of urgency and commitment to quality.
Excellent customer service skills.
