Led by a seasoned founding team with a history of successful exits in healthcare and consumer startups, and supported by top-tier investors, we are a close-knit, mission-driven group seeking exceptional talents to join us.The Role:The Senior DevOps Engineer will play a critical role in managing, optimizing and scaling our infrastructure in a rapidly growing company. You are someone who has hands-on experience managing infrastructure including familiarity with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, auto-scaling approaches and best practices across security, monitoring and performance. You enjoy working in a fast-paced start-up environment where you will also help support MLOps needs in conjunction with our ML team and assist in administration of key IT systems. You like to roll up your sleeves to get stuff done with the opportunity to grow your scope and role over time as the company scales. Your work will be critical to the entire product and engineering team where you will build a strong backbone to scale our platform.This is a remote position with the option to work hybrid based out of San Francisco, CA.Responsibilities :Actively participate in the development and execution of Ciitizen's DevOps strategyDesign, implement, and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions using tools such as Terraform, PulumiEnsure scalability, reliability, security, and performance of cloud infrastructure componentsArchitect and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for automated software delivery using common tools and frameworks such as FluxCD, ArgoCD, Kustomize, Helm, and Gitops.Implement and optimize build, test, and deployment processes for distributed microservices running on KubernetesDevelop and maintain monitoring and alerting systems for proactive issue resolutionAutomate repetitive tasks and processes to improve operational efficiencyCollaborate with the development team to implement and support DevOps practices that streamline software development and deployment.Provide user support for IT-related issuesQualifications:5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer in a senior or lead role5+ or more years of software engineering/coding experienceIn-depth knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker); Strong background with Kubernetes/EKS clusters, configuration, monitoring, and optimizations.Extensive hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP;Strong experience with AWS networking utilizing multiple accounts, multiple VPC's; Demonstrated understanding of compute, network, and storage principles; strong experience with other AWS major services like EC2, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, SQS, SNSExperience with in-depth monitoring and alerting using New Relic, CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana and other toolsStrong experience with Infrastructure as Code, using tools like Terraform, automating the application of Terraform.Strong experience in automation of DevOps workflows using tools such as FluxCD, Kustomize, and Helm.Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions and GitOps principles.Experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM) using roles and policies.Strong proficiency in scripting languages (Python and/or Bash, PowerShell) and experience with configuration management toolsFamiliarity with ML Ops a huge plus.Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools a huge plus.Meticulous, organized, proactive, and a critical thinker with a high level of attention to detailA Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical or business discipline, or equivalent experience#J-18808-Ljbffr
