Description:

We are seeking a friendly and reliable individual to join our team as a Cashier at our food truck. The Cashier will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service, processing transactions accurately, and ensuring a positive experience for our patrons. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers warmly and take accurate food and beverage orders.
  • Operate cash registers and mobile payment devices to process transactions.
  • Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions with precision.
  • Resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally, escalating issues as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier station and surrounding areas.
  • Assist in preparing food items such as beverages, snacks, and other menu items as required.
  • Adhere to all food safety and sanitation procedures to ensure a clean and safe environment.
  • Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure orders are prepared correctly and delivered timely.
  • Uphold company standards for customer service and hospitality at all times.
Requirements:
  • Basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
  • Previous experience in a cashier or customer service role preferred, but not required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude towards customer service.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a busy environment.
