Description

Certco, Inc. headquartered in Madison, Wisconsin is seeking a motivated Warehouse Janitor on 1st shift. Are you passionate about maintaining a clean and hygienic environment? We're seeking a dedicated Janitor to ensure our facilities are spotless and welcoming for everyone who walks through our doors

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and sanitize offices, meeting rooms, bathrooms, break rooms, and public areas to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust surfaces to remove dirt, debris, and allergens.
  • Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Restock restroom and break room supplies, such as toilet paper, soap, and paper towels.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs and replacing air fresheners.
  • Follow safety protocols and use cleaning chemicals in accordance with proper procedures.

Requirements

Schedule: Sunday-Thursday 7am-3:30pm

Position Summary

The Janitor will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing offices, meeting rooms, bathrooms, break rooms and public areas.

Essential Job Functions
  • Perform general cleanup of all areas of the building as directed
  • Operate electric sweeper
  • Manage routine upkeep of exterior areas, green space and parking lot
  • Complete non-routine cleaning according to specified job orders
  • Remove garbage and recycling daily
  • Handle emergency cleaning and upkeep requests
  • Is regular in attendance and complies with the Company Attendance Policy
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Experience in proper cleaning techniques
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
Experience
  • 1-2 years in a janitorial position
