About RoboJob-USA & Fusion: RoboJob-USA is an alliance between Belgium-based RoboJob NV and Chicago-based Fusion OEM (located in Burr Ridge, IL) focusing on the deployment and integration of robotic, automated CNC machine tending solutions for CNC turning and milling machines in the United States. About the Position: This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced electrical engineer to collaborate with engineers in the USA and Europe. The person in this position will support the design and integration of control systems for safe and reliable communications between our robot systems and the CNC machine. Responsibilities include electrical control design, selection of components, production wiring schematics, and prototype debugging. This role can grow and develop according to the ideal candidate's strengths and preferences.It is essential that the applicant possesses the following virtues:•Friendly, upbeat attitude•Strong sense of urgency and desire to get as much done in a day as possible•Proactive self-starter, able to work with limited supervision•Highly responsive•Excellent attention to detail•Strong work ethic•Ability to go above and beyond without being asked to•Strong verbal and written communication skills•Ability to adapt to a changing environment with positive results MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:5+ years' experience creating electrical schematics in Autodesk Electrical.Experience with electrical design software, PLCs, motion control, and pneumatics.An ability to use creative problem-solving skills to help provide solutions for our Fanuc robot installations.PREFERRED, BUT NOT REQUIRED, EXPERIENCE:Programming of 6-Axis RobotsProgramming languages for Industrial and Embedded PCs - C# and C++Fusion/RoboJob-USA offers a complete benefits package; including health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, 401K with match, paid time off, and holiday pay.This is a salaried position (exempt).The candidate evaluation process includes a drug test, background check, and reference checks.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
