Position Overview

We are looking for highly talented and innovative people with passion for both a great mission and technology to step into the Software Architecture role. If you have strong experience in designing and building distributed SaaS products for millions of users and are interested in architecting and delivering powering high-trafficked web and mobile solutions to support a fantastic missionthis is a great opportunity for you to work with other likeminded bright, enthusiastic and talented people.

Specific Roles & Responsibilities:

This position would guide and support our product teams (both existing and future) and continuously work on improving our architecture across the products. Some of the responsibilities include:Keep up with emerging technologies and recommend architecture improvements or additions to support business driversCollaborate with product owners, operations team, cross-department architects and engineering managers to define solutions to business problemsContinuously evaluate product technology performance and identify opportunities for improvementsDrive evaluation of new capabilities for technical viability and integration capabilities with current ecosystemReview product engineering teams' technical approach and solutionsProvide technical guidance, specifications and documentation to product engineering teamsDevelop, in collaboration with product and engineering teams, technical POCsDrive R&D initiatives for new product capabilitiesQualifications:

10+ years of software development of high-trafficked productsExperience architecting complex user-facing SaaS productsDemonstratable experience designing and building complex payment systemsExperience building and implementing ERP and CRM solutions into B2C SaaS products is a strong plusKnowledge of distributed system design patterns with an emphasis on maximizing performanceExcellent debugging and testing skills, and interest to quickly learn new technologiesWorking knowledge of AWS(GCP is a plus)Experience with Agile methodology and software developmentCommitment to following security, accessibility and performance best practicesStrong sense of collaboration, teamwork, and accountabilitySelf-starter and ability to communicate effectively remotelyAbility to communicate complex technical problems, root cause analysis, and propose solutions.Why Teaching Strategies
