Details: Work at Somerset, NJ area specialized manufacturing company.Job Title: CustodianMISSIONGeneral statements regarding the overall objective of the positionThe Custodian is responsible for cleaning all facility areas and works under the general supervision of the facilities engineer. JOB OUTCOMES Define the position objective and describe the overall performance expectationThe Custodian is expected to:* Keep facilities clean and hygienic * Proactively replenish and stock products and supplies ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES List of material responsibilities and essential duties which must be completed in achieving the objectives of the position % OF TIME (Denominations of 10)* Picks up all disposable waste from offices, plant, cafeteria and washrooms.* Follows established cleaning schedule unless directed otherwise* Cleans washroom walls, sinks, bowls, urinals and floors.* Vacuums all rugs and carpeting throughout facility.* Replenishes all supplies when necessary.* Cleans all glass, mirrors and windows.* Proactively keeps facilities clean, stocked and hygienic* Sweeps, cleans, mops and scrubs all floors using the proper and appropriate equipment* Strips, waxes, and buffs all tiled floors as needed.* Takes inventory of all cleaning supplies and prepare requisitions for needed supplies Job RequirementsDetails: QUALIFICATIONS Statements regarding minimum education, experience, skills and certifications required for the job.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE * High school degree or general education degree (GED) is preferred. * Previous custodian or related experience is strongly preferred.LICENSE AND CERTIFICATION* NoneTECHNICAL SKILLS* Basic computer skillsOTHER SKILLS* Dependability* Organizational skills
