Peoplelink Staffing Solutions in partnership with a prominent carpet manufacturer in Glasgow, Virginia is seeking Material Handler to join their team They are offering a wide range of perks such as benefits, 401K, vacation and profit sharingMaterial Handler / Tile - Job Summary:•$16.62 per hour + 2nd or 3rd (Shift Diff.)•2nd shift (3:00pm - 11:00pm) shift diff. of .75 cent•3rd shift (11:00pm -7:00am) shift diff of $1.00•Material Handler will keep tiles from jamming up on the conveyors •Watch all 3 lines for jams or waste causing the tiles to jam•Material Handler will feed back tiles on the conveyor that have been kicked or put o waste pallet•Blow out trimmers and sweep floors•Must be able to move quickly and to go up and down steps to reach jams on the linesMaterial Handler / Tile - Qualifications:•Must be 18 years or older•Be able to bend, stoop, push, pull, lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for long periods of time•Must be capable of communicating with co-workers/supervisor, follow all safety procedures•Must have good vision and be able to see any tiles that have gotten off track•Willing to operate a lift truck when needed•Background check•Drug Screen•Steel toe boots over the ankleWhy Peoplelink?•Weekly pay•Medical, Dental, Vision & Life insurance available•Direct Deposit Programs•We get you in the door to see if you want to become Full Time•Full time around 90 days, if qualified•Full time benefits include- Holiday pay, Paid vacation, 401K, Service Awards, etcPeoplelink, LLC, a leader in the staffing industry for the past 33 years, continues our vision of 'linking' communities through employment.
