Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field. Current Hawai‘i license to practice social work (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), psychology, or related mental health field (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist or Licensed Mental Health Counselor). Valid driver's license and current Hawai‘i auto insurance.

Three (3) years post-Masters degree experience, supervisory, or management experience. Preferred Experience:

Experience in working with victims of sexual trauma, and/or community program management experience.

Essential Functions: Plans, administers, oversees, monitors, and evaluates Crisis Intervention Program. Oversees ongoing management and administration of the Crisis Intervention Program. Reviews and updates job descriptions and performance appraisals, and establishes standards of performance which measure competency and productivity. Develops proposals with complete business plans and recommends new and additional services and programs which adapt to changing trends. Assists with program planning, development, and evaluation. Completes quarterly and annual reporting as required by funders on a timely basis. Provides appropriate crisis intervention. Researches and keeps abreast of developments and studies in the field, and shares materials and knowledge with staff. Develops, implements, and evaluates standards of care consistent with the Performance Improvement Programs. Promotes the delivery of quality services in area of operations. Acts as a resource to medical, professional, and administrative staff. May provide appropriate therapeutic intervention to patients and families, including individual, parental, family, and group therapies. May provide legal advocacy services and court accompaniments. Represents the organization by meeting with members of the community as required to promote good community relations and develop resources. May provide educational presentations to the community. Collaborates with and provides consultation to other agencies and professional groups in identifying and meeting health and social needs of communities and stimulates development of additional needed resources. Works with community groups, advisory and oversight committees and state agencies to resolve problems and develop resources on behalf of patients. May represent the organization at the State Legislature and City and County hearings through oral and written testimony. Maintains departmental reports and records, and collects statistical data for administrative and regulatory purposes. Selects staff, trains/orients subordinate personnel, prepares work schedules, and allocates assignments. Provides supervision, monitors and evaluates work performance.
