The environmental specialist is responsible for maintaining environmental operating permits for all CFG Facilities. Maintain Capital master and summary documents. Assist Project Managers as needed.

Job Responsibilities:

    • Be a resource for projects that require environmental permits for all CFG facilities and for environmental issues
    • Oversee CFG Hatfield and Coldwater Facilities Industrial Waste Water Discharge Permit and Waste Water
    • Manage all facets of CFG Air permits. Pennsylvania and Michigan, including a PA Title V Operating Permit to maintain compliance with permit requirements
    • Manage all facets of Hatfield and Coldwater General NPDES for Storm water to maintain compliance with permit requirements
    • Manage all regulatory facets of Hatfield Public Water System
    • Staying abreast of any environmental changes, and work to influence them in a positive way from a CFG viewpoint.
    • Attend annual meetings with DEP at CFG as needed
    • Maintain / improve the CFG Environmental Programs
    • Maintain communication with key industry/regulatory contacts
    • Respond to non-compliance concerns and coordinate activities needed to return to normal operating conditions
    • Perform environmental related audits and inspections to ensure compliance
    • Other duties as assigned by Engineering Management
Capital Project Administrator
    • Maintain Capital Master and Capital Summary
    • Assemble Capital Review Presentations
    • Schedule and facilitate Capital Review Meetings
    • Open, track, update, change, and/or close Capital Projects as necessary
    • Assist Project Managers as available
Qualifications:
      • Associate's degree in environmental resource or relative work experience
      • Experience in multi-site management
      • Willing to travel 25% of the time and visit all CFG facilities
      • Understanding of applicable environmental laws and regulations
      • Able to work independently and be willing to be on call 24/7 as needed
      • Multi-task oriented and a team player
      • Valid driver's license w/vehicle to respond to urgent issues
      • Good professional English verbal and written communication skills
      • Computer proficient (SAP experience preferred)
      • Able to work in inclement weather conditions
      • Able to tolerate an industrial system environment, which may include animal dander, manure, dust, blood, odors and frequently noisy condition
