Night Auditor, Full Time
Rate of Pay: $25.33/hour

Opportunity Awaits on the beautiful Island of Hawaii... King Kamehameha Kona Beach Resort Courtyard by Marriott currently has an opening for a talented Full Time Night Auditor to share the aloha spirit and strive to create a memorable guest experience.

Brief Summary of Job: Responsible for serving guests at the front desk while providing the highest level of service possible in an efficient, courteous and professional manner by following Marriott standards of hospitality and adhering to guidelines and procedures.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the job include but are not limited to:
Maintain a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times, while providing
personalized service to guests.
Communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members.
Reconcile and complete all daily front desk agents' work.
Run find trial balance to post rooms and close day.
Email, fax or mail copies of guest folios.
Reconcile Crew sign in sheet with Room & Tax charges on the individual company direct bill accounts
Run accounts receivable reports.
Provide next day reports for Front Office, Housekeeping, Sales, and Executive Office as required.
Reconcile daily portergage charges from Fosse with automatic portergage list
Perform duties of front desk agent as assigned. Will have a dual role to cover Front Desk Night Auditor and Front Desk Agent. Accommodate guests by making them feel welcome, informed, and cared for during the entire length of their stay.
Anticipate and respond to guest needs.
Handle all aspects of guest registration, which can include: expediting the check-in/check-out process; following hotel rate structures, discounts, and selling strategies; issuing room keys; informing guests about hotel features and amenities, as well as local attractions; and satisfying special requests whenever possible.
Be knowledgeable about daily hotel operations, check daily event sheet, bulletin boards and be up to date with all changes, new procedures and events.
Have knowledge about room rates, packages, discounts and promotions and know how to handle each.
Maintain and understand special guest programs and franchise related programs.
Find solutions quickly, and confidently address and resolve guest concerns.
Answer phones according to service standards and within 3 rings.
Full understanding of the Front Desk system for all guest services.
Provide assistance to other team members and departments to contribute to the best
overall performance of the department, restaurant and hotel.
Perform other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management.

Knowledge/Education/Experience: Proficient in Microsoft applications. One (1) year experience front office experience or accounting experience preferred. Ability to speak multiple languages preferred. High school graduate desirable.

Skills/Abilities/Other Requirements: Must be able to work overnight shifts and have a flexible schedule including holidays and weekend shifts. Must be able to communicate in English with guests, management and team members to their understanding. Ability to provide legible written communications. Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations. Ability to prioritize, organize and make good judgments. Dependable.
