Job Summary:

The CNC Metal Bending Machine Operator is responsible for programming, operating, and maintaining our CNC metal bending machine within the Metal Fab Department. This role involves adjusting, creating and executing CNC programs to bend metal components to precise specifications.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Programming: Develop and modify CNC programs using industry-standard software to control the bending process.

Operation: Set up and operate the CNC bending machine, ensuring accurate and efficient production of metal components.

Quality Control: Inspect finished products to verify conformance to specifications and quality standards.

Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on the CNC bending machine to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions or programming errors.

Safety: Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Proven experience in CNC programming and operation, preferably in metal fabrication.
• Strong mathematical and mechanical skills, including understanding of geometry and trigonometry.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Schedule:

Saturdays and Sundays with flexibility on hours
