Mechanical EngineerClearwater, FL - Full Time Productive Resources ( ) is seeking a candidate to be part of our engineering team at our customer's facility in Clearwater, Florida. As a member of our team, the selected candidate will support mechanical designs, reliable and cost-effective heavy-duty vehicle components. Perform engineering analysis and design or re-design, and development of components into existing and new vehicles.This is a full-time position that is indefinite in duration with the opportunity of professional growth, and additional opportunities within our organization. Duties: Support senior engineers in the preparation of basic plans, designs, computation methods, and/or reporting.Collaborate as needed with other engineering or business support disciplines internally as well as suppliers externally.Maintain effective communication with suppliers, internal and external customers, and outside resources concerning technicalEnforce the proper use of engineering criteria and drawing standards. Ensure that technical issues are conducted within the framework of company policies and procedures.Evaluate designs for performance, safety, and reliability.Perform and Directs preparation of layouts, drawings, specifications, and bills of material.Perform engineering analysis to support the selection of parts, components, and materials that meet requirements.Provide non-complex technical assistance for production support.Analyze and resolve issues reported to Engineering via verbal or written communication.Prepare technical proposals, quotations, reports, and presentations.Utilize analytical and mathematical approaches to calculate or model system performance and optimize designs.Analyze and resolve issues reported to Engineering and communicate status via verbal or written communication.Requirements:Accredited bachelor's degree in engineering or related field along with Internship experience or six (6) or more months of related work experience.Sheet metal design experience.Mechanical knowledge of automotive or heavy-vehicle equipment and related systems.Experience with a high-level CAD system.As a condition of employment consideration, Productive Resources conducts pre-employment screening, including a background check and drug test.
