The Junior Benefit Analyst position provides direct daily support to clients in the marketing and renewals relating to an assigned book of business, and the respective Producer.

General Responsibilities:

  • Partner with internal teams within the department, including the Service/Client Care Advocate, EB Engagement, Well-being, Data Analytics and Compliance Teams, for fluid communication and execution of projects.
  • Develop and sustain strong client relationships by effectively managing resolutions, promptly addressing inquiries and facilitating seamless communication between clients, our internal teams, and insurance carriers.
  • Manage the experience data collection and marketing process involved in obtaining carrier proposals.
  • Prepare customer renewal proposals while ensuring the use of internal required documents.
  • Analyze coverage and cost options to select the best solutions for client presentation.
  • Audit marketing analysis against the carrier plan documents for new business development and client retention.
  • Document account information into the internal management databases and document management system.
  • Coordinate and participate in client conference calls and meetings.
  • Satisfy licensing continuing education requirements.
  • Review and ensure compliance with internal compliance and client disclosure requirements, summary plan documents (SPDs) and employee communications.
  • Client-specific projects as assigned, including but not limited to implementation of a carrier transition.
  • Support Benefits Department Teams as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of experience in similar position
  • 2-15 Life and Health license or obtained within 90 days
  • Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Strong human relations and professional skills
  • Proficient in MS Office suite of products, especially Excel
  • Exceptional telephone demeanor
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and understanding of HIPPA
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 4-year college degree or equivalent relevant experience
  • Working knowledge of AMS360 and ImageRight
