Hybrid: Sr. Portfolio Accountant
Our client of ours is the leading New England-based commercial real estate developer. The company provides a wide range of services and specializes in value-added construction management services to reduce development and tenant occupancy costs through knowledgeable process management and value engineering. They acquired and developed more than 125 properties compromising over 20 million square feet across a wide range of asset classes including industrial, life science, retail, office, and multi-family.
They are looking for a Senior Portfolio Accountant who will be responsible for financial reporting, analysis, and accounting over a set portfolio of assets.

Senior Portfolio Accountant Responsibilities
Review financial reports and variances, develop summaries and interpretations; prepare cash flow forecasting and identify entity cash requirements.
Annual audit paperwork preparation and tax return review.
Responsible for preparing the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for assigned portfolio, including any supporting documentation, reviewing completeness and accuracy.
Ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Communicating the results to the management group, and external parties ensuring completion in accordance with due dates and appropriate reporting requirements.
Senior Portfolio Accountant Qualifications
3-5 years of commercial real estate/partnership and multi-entity accounting experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
Knowledgeable of Yardi accounting software
Ability to work well independently with excellent interpersonal skills, including verbal and written
