Holman has an exciting opportunity for an Analyst to join our growing Payroll team

Objective:

This role supports Payroll leadership with oversight of payroll processing for a multi-business organization. Analyzes data and supports process improvements utilizing technology and business process automation.

General Responsibilities:

Run all end-to-end payroll processes. Load and review payroll inputs, as received from finance leaders. Troubleshoot processing issues related to payroll and timekeeping. Perform a complete payroll register review each period; run audits to identify inaccuracies. Perform benefits reconciliations and fund 401k contributions. Post payroll-related GL entries and adjustments. Export, review, and provide data to satisfy ad-hoc reporting and audit requests. Work with 3rd party providers to correct tax, wage payment, or garnishment issues. Utilize Workday to compile organized reports and create process efficiencies. Research and test system upgrades to deploy; build custom reports as needed. Experience with Workday or another HCM system is preferred, but not required. Obtain and demonstrate working knowledge of our organization’s varying pay structures. Perform wage testing and provide recommendations based on results.

Team-player attitude with the willingness to support other admins/analysts in the department.

Relevant Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Human Resources, or related field. Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP’s, formulas, etc.). Experience with an HCM system such as Workday is a plus, preferably in payroll or time tracking. General understanding of accounting. Ability to prioritize responsibilities and multi-task to produce accurate results on a timely basis. Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative, team-driven environment. Strong logical problem-solving and analysis skills.
