The Director of Education is responsible for maintaining quality instruction at the Center. The Director of Education manages all aspects of tutoring instruction, including supervision of program prescription, initial program, program revision, instruction, and student progress.

The right candidate for this job is someone who wants to first learn, and then help support the overall mission of Huntington Learning Center.

Expectations:

Supervise instruction; ensure effectiveness, accuracy, thoroughness, and competency of all instruction. Monitor, program, and reprogram student instructional programs. Maintain Student files, records, and program plans. Review each student's instructional program at least once per month. Create and maintain student and teacher schedules. Anticipate teacher needs. Monitor teacher payroll costs by optimizing student-teacher ratios. Conduct Parent and Student Interim Conferences as needed. Prepare for, conduct, and follow up after professional merchant visit contacts, and event-focused/student-focused school visits. Train, manage, motivate, and evaluate part-time teachers. Conduct monthly teacher meetings. Conduct initial inquiries from interested families. Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (Management or Education preferred) Tutor students - this role must understand how our system works before leading others. The first 30-45 days will be focused mostly on instructional excellence and learning our systems and programs. Ideal Candidate has:
