Overview:

The SAP ABAP Developer will design, develop, and maintain SAP ABAP programs and interfaces to support our business processes. Your expertise in SAP ABAP development will be critical in enhancing and optimizing our SAP systems and custom applications.

1. SAP ABAP Development:

• Design and develop custom SAP ABAP programs, reports, forms, and interfaces based on functional specifications and business requirements.
• Enhance and optimize existing SAP ABAP programs to improve performance, usability, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with functional teams to understand and translate business requirements into technical designs and solutions.
• Implement and maintain data migration programs to support data transfer between SAP and external systems.
• Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and performance tests to ensure the quality and reliability of ABAP developments.

2. SAP ABAP Support and Debugging:

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for SAP ABAP-related incidents, analyzing and resolving issues in a timely manner.
• Debug and analyze ABAP programs to identify and fix bugs, performance issues, and system errors.
• Work closely with functional teams to gather requirements and propose technical solutions for system enhancements or new functionalities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to perform system integration testing and resolve integration issues.

3. SAP ABAP Performance Optimization:

• Identify and implement performance optimization techniques for SAP ABAP programs, including SQL optimization, buffer management, and code refactoring.
• Analyze performance bottlenecks and system logs to improve overall system performance and response times.
• Collaborate with database administrators and infrastructure teams to optimize system resources and ensure efficient data processing.

4. Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:

• Create and maintain technical documentation, including program specifications, technical designs, and development guidelines.
• Provide training and knowledge transfer to functional teams and end-users on the best practices and techniques of SAP ABAP development.
• Stay updated on the latest SAP ABAP technologies, tools, and trends, sharing knowledge and insights with the team.

Required Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• Five years or more experience as an SAP ABAP Developer or similar role, with a strong focus on ABAP development and support within SAP ERP systems.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP ABAP programming language and development tools, including ABAP Workbench, ABAP Objects, ABAP Data Dictionary, and Web Dynpro ABAP.
• Experience in developing and enhancing SAP ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, and forms.
• Proficiency in debugging ABAP programs and analyzing system logs for troubleshooting purposes.
• Familiarity with SAP ABAP performance optimization techniques and tools.
• Strong understanding of SAP functional modules and integration points.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, business users, and stakeholders.
• Prior experience in the automotive industry or related manufacturing sectors is a plus.
• A bilingual speaker (English and Korean) is a plus.

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:

• SAP ABAP certification is highly desirable.
