Summary of Position:

Georgia Boys BBQ is looking for people who know what Southern Hospitality means. We are a from scratch BBQ joint that cares about our guests and our team.

Pay: $10.63 plus tips

Responsibilities:

  • What you'll do:
    • Follow Georgia Boys BBQ steps of service in store and catering.
    • Provide Southern Hospitality to every guest you come in contact with.
    • Treat your teammates and guests with respect.
    • Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the manager on duty.
    • Assist with catering events scheduled:
      • Adaptable, resourceful.
      • Great team player, also confident to work independently.
      • Excellent communication, timeliness, and dependability are of utmost importance.
      • Maintain professional appearance and demeanor.
      • Follows our catering steps of service for on and off site events.
      • Professional and enthusiastic interactions with all parties involved in events (restaurant staff, clients, venues, vendors, guests).

Qualifications:
  • Previous restaurant experience is a plus.
  • Must have a basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures and functions.
  • Possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle money and operate a point-of-sale system.
  • Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours).
  • Be able to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food frequently weighing up to 20 to 25 pounds.
