As a Game Lands Maintenance Worker 1, you will perform semi-skilled duties and assist with various tasks such as the maintenance, repair, and construction of bridges, roads, parking areas, gates, posting signs, ranges, and more. This position assists with equipment maintenance, signage, and surveying new game land tracts. You will also assist with a multitude of habitat management tasks and complete mowing duties to include border cuts and access trail maintenance for outdoor recreationalists. Additional duties may include nursery production through the securing of seeds, and the pruning and releasing of fruit and nut trees, shrubs, and vines for wildlife food enhancement.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment, 40 hours/week.
- Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of laboring experience using construction tools and equipment; or
- One year of farming experience using agricultural tools and equipment; or
- One year of construction equipment operation experience; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Special Requirements:
- You must possess an active Pennsylvania non-commercial Class C driver's license or equivalent.
- You must obtain an active Class A Commercial Driver's License within one year of employment in this job.
Additional Requirements:
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
