Description The Challenge: Whole Foods Market Engineering Services is looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer who can own test planning, drive automation, and develop test strategies for high-impact projects in our newly-formed team. This team will be tackling some of our most complex and challenging projects and will deliver innovative technical solutions to advance the retail grocery industry. The Role: Everyone on the team needs to be entrepreneurial, wear many hats, and work in a highly collaborative environment. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work with a wide variety of technologies from front-end UI (both web and device) to back-end distributed web services to device software. You will own the quality of major deliverables end-to-end, working closely with multiple engineering and product teams to execute them. Reliability, latency, and customer experience are top priorities for our business. We are an early-stage initiative, and you will play an active role in translating business requirements into concrete quality assurance concepts in partnership with technology leaders within the team and across the business.
