C# .NET Developer

Function We're currently looking for a consultant to join our client's team, contributing to a mission with a focus on C# .Net development. The team, operating in the field of simulation and models at our client's site (Dunkirk), is responsible for studies and models related to the management of automatic stockyards. The primary objectives include generating jobs for automated cranes, creating commands for automated cranes, exchanging data with other dot net services, and implementing models.

The consultant will play a crucial role in bridging the knowledge gap between 2 teams, working closely with colleagues to enhance skills and contribute to the development of an industrial project.

Responsibilities

Work collaboratively with colleagues in Gent on automation projects.

Lead a two-stage mission: the first part in 2024 involves training and collaboration in Gent, while the second part in 2025 sees the consultant as a tech leader in Dunkirk, working on the automation projects and skill development within the Dunkirk team.

Perform technical tasks including specifications, development, testing, production ramp-up, and comprehensive documentation.

Technical qualifiations

Proficient in C# .NET, GIT, and DTO Object.

Experience with Visual Studio, including the ability to configure solutions with dependencies, packages, nugget, etc.

Previous experience in an Agile working environment.

Strong mentoring and leadership skills to increase the competence of the team in C#.

Desired skills include SQL Server, Visual Studio, automation concepts, and familiarity with deployment through release pipelines, CI/CD via Azure, .NET Core, WPF, Entity Framework, and REST.

Other requirements

Fluent in English, with French and Dutch at professional level.

Willingness to travel to Dunkirk and Ghent (depending on project phase). Some remote work is possible.
