Act as a front-line mechanical expert working on customer Rackmount server projects/products, represent R&D team to customer and communicate customers requirement to Taiwan HQ R&D team for daily execution.

Apply expert knowledge of mechanical concepts, practices, and procedures to ensure projects implementation successfully. Perform full cycle product development by analyzing, designing, developing, and maintaining products and assisting in commercialization; Provide on-site real-time design support; Executing real-time root cause analyses of quality issues with MP products, proposing solutions to clients, and providing feedback to factory quality team during solution implementation; Provide leadership in coordinating work among on-site team members and different functional units, including PM/Logistics team, for large capital projects; Track design progress for schedule control and efficient projects execution; Design and redesign mechanical and thermal devices using analysis and computer-aided design; Develop mechanical products by studying customers requirements, and research and test manufacturing and assembly methods and material; Prepare product reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information trends; Use Auto CAD & Creo 3D CAD software to visualize the design concept, prepare the bill of materials, prepare assembly guidelines, release the fabrication, and machining parts. Analyze and test mechanical components and systems; Verify the products are properly designed from a mechanical engineering perspective in compliance with industry standards; Perform technical evaluations on products and equipment proposals; Applying Pro/E (Creo) in CAD model presentations to help clients recognize efficient server design, based on advanced knowledge of rack-mount specs.

Job Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field and 24 Months experience in job offered or as a Test Engineer, Product Engineer or related Engineering occupation.
