Kotarides Property Management is seeking a highly motivated individual to serve as an IT Support Specialist for our rapidly growing company. The IT Support Specialist will be the initial point of contact for all Kotarides company employeesfrom end-users to Executives--seeking help with their technology tools. The IT Support Specialist will answer calls, emails, and service tickets to support the technology functions of the business and reduce downtime. A successful candidate will have hardware, software, and basic network troubleshooting skills and can identify customer needs to provide the steps and/or instruction necessary to resolve problem(s) in a changing Information Technology environment. Friendly customer service, active listening, and problem-solving skills are a must. A qualified candidate will demonstrate a thorough understanding and deep-seated discipline to follow and maintain security and business best practices. Some local travel is involved as needed.

****Essential Duties and Responsibilities:****

Direct end-user support

* Provides support for computer hardware problems, software questions, and connectivity issues

* Ensures installation, ongoing availability, updating, maintenance, and replacement of company PCs, iPhones, printers, etc. and on-site technology through hands-on support and via implementation of best practices

* Resolves 90% of tickets during first contact

* Takes ownership of tasks and tracks issues until completion

* Escalates tickets appropriately as needed

* Provides immediate support for high-priority issues

* Patiently instructs users on how to efficiently use their technology tools to accomplish tasks

* Works independently by taking initiative on service calls, analyzing patterns or common occurrences, and reporting patterns to the IT Coordinator or Director of Technology

* Maintains technology asset inventory

* Frequently lifts and transports devices weighing upwards of 50 lbs. between site locations

Coordinates solutions and proactively works with Help Desk team

* Works with other team members located in the field to remedy issues

* Assists company project teams with rollout of new hardware and software

* Collaborates with colleagues to assess patterns, identify gaps, and recommend upstream solutions

* Consistently contributes to our growing knowledgebase of technology solutions

Business systems administration

* Supports everyday questions and operational functions of Microsoft Office 365, Adobe, SmartDraw, Okta, Bluebeam Revu and other business systems.

* Uses various systems to manage hardware and software (e.g., MaaS360 MDM, N-Central RMM, Okta, Nextiva VOIP, Avigilon access control and surveillance, etc.)

Projects and Changes to Business Technology

* Stays current with new company implementations and works with multiple team members to maintain knowledgebase for new hardware and systems

* Anticipates problems with new systems and thinks critically through solutions

* Completes other assigned projects as needed

****Qualifications and Job Requirements:****

* Advanced proficiency with Windows 10 (most editions including Home, Professional, Enterprise, Mobile) and Apple iOS

* Proficiency with Office365, Active Directory, Windows domains

* Familiarity with MS SharePoint (Online), wired and wireless networking technology

* Experience working with a ticketing system

* Ability to balance multiple priorities and manage time

* Demonstrates friendly customer service attitude

* Strong written and verbal communication

* Attention to detail to ensure work is done in a timely and high-quality manner

* High school degree required, college degree in related area preferred

* 4+ years of experience in comparable position required
